Hello 2nd grade families,

I will be in our classroom on Thursday, August 11th, from 11:00 - 12:00 if you would like to come say hello, drop off your supplies or choose a seat to start off the school year!

New students and families, please read the very important "Allergy Alert" to the right, we have a food free classroom however, this does NOT mean that your child cannot bring a snack...I can update you more on our classroom protocol as you come to visit.

I am posting the REQUIRED Summer IXL assignments. Make sure that you and your child search for and complete these objectives prior to August 15th.  Some of the letters/numbers have been changed over the summer so you may have to search by the objective and grade level instead of the letter/number.  However, some of them have also stayed the same...be sure to check carefully.

If you child was in kinder:

• D.1 count to 20
• D.4 Show numbers on ten frames up to 20
• D.9 Number lines- up to 20
• D.16 Count tens and ones- up to 20
• I.1 Addition with pictures-sums up to 5
• I.3 Addition sentences- sums up to 5
• J.1 Subtraction with pictures- numbers up to 5
• J.3 Subtraction sentences- numbers up to 5

• R.1 Coin names- penny through quarter

If your child was in first:
